Golang Job: Site Reliability Engineer

Site Reliability Engineer- Netherlands - 6 months

Global Enterprise Partners is currently looking for a Site Reliability Engineer- for an initial contract of 6 months with our client. The project will Hybrid from The Netherlands.

As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for continuously driving best practices and consumer experience improvements. You will focus on enforcing core operations principles through the development and continuous delivery processes.

You will establish observability solutions and build tooling to improve our automatic failure detection and develop focus.

Site Reliability Engineer requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in software development, operations, or support.
• Design and development experience with Java, Node.js, or similar language preferred
• Experience in other modern enterprise languages (functional or other -Scala, Python, Golang, etc.) is preferred
• Understanding of DNS, Networking, Virtualization, Linux.
• Experience with Docker and/or Serverless patterns
• Proficiency with JavaScript on Front End (React, Angular, etc.) is a plus
• Experience with at least one No-SQL database like DynamoDB, Cassandra, etc.
• Expertise in designing/building/supporting scalable cloud-based Micro Services deployed to AWS preferred
• Background with ITIL & ITSM (Incident and Problem)
• Basic understanding of common tools for service management, agile, and observability: ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information System, or other relevant subject area.
